ALBAWABA - Turkish media reported that an aerial object carrying explosives was spotted on the shores of Arnavutköy Karaburun in Istanbul, Turkey, on Monday.
According to Bursa Saati, the unmanned object, which was washed ashore on the Arnavutköy Karaburun coast, was initially assessed to be a fragmented kamikaze drone.
Additionally, it was safely detonated by Turkish Operations Forces (SAS) teams after explosive material was found on it.
The object was found by locals between Arnavutköy Karaburun Beach and Çatalca Ormanlı Beach and reported to Turkish authorities, who responded quickly to the situation.
No official has made a statement regarding the source of the object or explained who it belongs to. However, social media users circulated images of the aerial object.
