Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Thursday that enemies cannot block progress of Iranians by playing political games. Addressing a group of people at a stadium downtown Tehran, the Iranian leader said, "Enemies had attempted to stop Iranian nuclear program under false pretext in the past few years, but everyone knew that they were lying."
Referring to the will of Iranian nation to reach the heights of progress in all fields, President Ahmadinejad stressed, "No one can pose a threat to Iran any more." "Today, the message of the Islamic Revolution has reached all over the world including South America, East Asia, Western Europe and even inside the United States," said the Iranian president, according to IRNA.
He made it clear that "no power in the world, even at the worst periods of Iran's history, could ever impose its will on Iranians by making military threats or political pressure."
