ALBAWABA- In a series of contradictory statements, the Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard has caused confusion about the motives behind Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

Despite initially linking it to the revenge for Qassem Soleimani's assassination, the Commander later claimed it was unrelated and emphasized its independence from external support.

The Commander also asserted that the operation was entirely Palestinian, responding to years of perceived injustice and the current situation in Gaza and the West Bank.

Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard further highlighted that the Palestinian Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements produce weapons internally.

He further threatened what he called "the Zionist entity" that Iranians will not remain silent about the assassination of their leaders, will avenge them harshly, and their revenge will be nothing other than ending the existence of the Zionist entity.
