Al-Futtaim Motors, the exclusive distributor for Hino commercial vehicles, Toyota industrial equipment and BT warehousing equipment in the UAE, has chosen the three day Commercial Vehicle Middle East Exhibition that opens today, to launch a new Hino bus range and to display other models that form part of their product range.

On display at the exhibition in the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, is the new Citiliner 60-seater air conditioned bus and the smaller 34-seater Senator bus. These are exhibited alongside other products from BT, Toyota Forklift and Hino trucks that form part of Al-Futtaim Motors’ Commercial Division.

Paul Henning, General Manager, Al-Futtaim Motors Commercial Division, stated: “We are delighted to support the region’s first commercial vehicle exhibition as it provides the opportunity to meet representatives from every sector of the region’s road and passenger transport business.
The show is also the perfect platform to launch our new Hino range of buses and demonstrates the complete range of commercial products that are available through Al-Futtaim Motors in the
UAE.”

Mr Henning continued: “The two buses launched here today are aimed at the staff and school transport segments of the market as well as the tourism market.  I can confirm we already have advance orders for these models as Hino’s reputation for quality, durability and reliability is recognised and valued by many existing fleet owners.

Hino vehicles are known for their fuel efficiency and operating costs which are envied by most of our competitors. In terms of durability, our products are unbeatable and we are proud to say that we have fleet owners with vehicles still operating 15 years after their initial commissioning date. Our enhanced value offering in terms of after-sales will provide further momentum for a legacy that already exists.

We offer the full spectrum of transport, logistics and warehousing solutions through our existing Light, Medium and Heavy Duty trucks as well as the renowned Toyota forklifts and BT warehousing equipment. The addition of the bus range to our Hino product line-up provides the brand with a strengthened presence in the passenger transport market. This clearly demonstrates our commitment towards the growth of Hino in the region and will signify the start of further investment in the UAE.

Throughout this year, we will be developing our infrastructure to increase the after-sales service capacity in the region. We believe that this comprehensive product range combined with an outstanding after-sales support structure will provide our customers with excellent transport solutions which will maximise vehicle uptime and customer satisfaction.

Hino is part of Toyota Motor Corporation and Al-Futtaim Motors is proud to be the distributor of this premium brand of trucks and buses in the UAE. In these regard, I would like to extend a warm welcome to representatives from Hino Motors Ltd who have made it possible to  participate in this exhibition. Visitors are invited to our stand (E 15) located across S2 and S3 of Sheikh Saeed Hall to meet the Hino team.”

Mr Henning concluded: “Customers will be delighted to know that Hino Motors Ltd. officially launched their regional technical training centre in Sharjah Airport International Free Zone during the last quarter of 2009. The centre, overseen by Japanese instructors, employs the latest technology and follows Hino’s policy of ‘customer first’ which underpins its successful global operations. Customers can thus be assured of the best attention to their vehicle fleets.”
