Al-Jazeera television said on Tuesday its Baghdad office was hit during a U.S. air raid on the Iraqi capital and that some of its correspondents were wounded. The station aired footage of the cameraman being taking away for treatment in a car belonging to rival network Abu Dhabi television.
Al Jazeera's Baghdad correspondent Majid Abdel Hadi said the network's offices were located in a residential area of Baghdad.
Earlier, Reuters>/i> said U.S. planes raiding the capital were striking targets near the Iraqi Information Ministry and artillery fire was coming in. (Albawaba.com)
