The jailed Iraqi prisoner at the centre of an exchange deal between Daesh and the Jordanian government will be handed over to the militant group in Iraq, according to confirmed reports.
Sajida Mubarak Atrous al-Rishawi, who was jailed following a failed suicide bombing attempt in Amman, is due to be freed within hours, Al Jazeera said.
The fates of Jordanian pilot Mu’ath Kasasbeh and Japanese hostage Kenji Goto are still unknown after Daesh gave a 24-hour deadline to execute both men.
