Algeria's President, Abdelaziz Bouteflika stressed Tuesday in Mila the vital importance of water resources and the need of their preservation by avoiding any form of wasting. The head of state insisted on this matter during the inauguration ceremony of the renovation project on 14 km of drinking water supply pipes for the city, APS reported. This project has mobilized DA 198.708.535,00 and will ensure Mila with an additional provision of 40 litres/second of water.
According to the hydraulic manager, the water supply of the city is facing a seepage problem considering the great age of the distribution network.
