Amel Mrabet – "Ambassador for Epilepsy"

The international league against epilepsy and the management committee of the international bureau for epilepsy, located in Brussels, gave Tunisian Amel Mrabet the title of "ambassador for epilepsy". <i>La Presse</i> reports that Mrabet is currently the president of the Tunisian Association against Epilepsy and the head of the Neurological Department at Charles Nicolle hospital. La Presse added that for the year 2005, 42 epileptologists of various nationalities were nominated for the title of ambassador for epilepsy, but of these 42 candidates, Amel Mrabet was given the title in recognition of his contributions to promote a better knowledge of epilepsy
