American Express signs on InterContinental Hotels Group

Leading premium payments solutions provider, American Express Middle East, has signed an agreement with the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), the world’s most global hotel company, to offer the American Express ‘Selects’ programme. As a special offer, American Express Cardmembers will receive a 25% discount on weekend stays at over 400 selected IHG properties across the Middle East; Europe and Africa.

‘Selects’ is a prestigious privilege programme that provides American Express Cardmembers access to exclusive offers for Travel & Leisure, Shopping and Dining, in over 50 countries, through an easily navigable website

Our growing portfolio clearly demonstrates that our partners recognise the value of our products and services. Merchants are fast recognising the benefits of accepting American Express Cards. On average, our Cardmembers spend four to five times more than on other Cards and this translates into better prospects for merchants”.

The American Express ‘Selects’ programme currently has over 300 regional  merchant offers and hundreds more internationally.
