ALBAWABA - According to medical reports, an American citizen is in deteriorating condition after being severely injured by Hezbollah missiles fired toward Israeli sites.
According to a statement from Galilee Medical Center, the 31-year-old male was taken to the operating room on Sunday evening local time after suffering shrapnel injuries to the upper body.
A military personnel and a civilian were also treated in a surgical department after sustaining injuries from missile fire, according to the center. Hezbollah launched dozens of rockets and anti-tank missiles toward Israeli sites on Sunday. The Israeli Army stated that a soldier was slightly hurt and had been removed for treatment.
Reports revealed that the American citizen was a civilian employee in a company that "sold or donated drones to Israeli reservists on the Lebanese border," where he entered the area unauthorized, with another American citizen to offer alleged training on operating drones and installing security systems.
In response to reports that hundreds of settlers had gone into shelters, the Lebanese movement Hezbollah released a video showing strikes on three Israeli military outposts located in the northern region of the occupied Palestinian territory.
Hezbollah said that over a hundred Katyusha rockets had struck the outposts, identifying the targets as Ayelet, Meron, and Nimra. Citing US sources, the American news website Axios said that one of the country's citizens had been injured in the strikes.
