Amy Mickelson, the wife of leading golfer Phil Mickelson is suffering from breast cancer. Following the bad news, the 39 year old professional announced on Wednesday he would suspend his PGA Tour schedule indefinitely. So far in his career, Phil Mickelson has won three major championships and a total of 36 events on the PGA Tour.
Phil Mickelson, in a statement , revealed that his wife Amy Mickelson is expected to pass additional tests but start treatment with major surgery in the coming days.
Amy Mickelson is a former NBA's Phoenix Suns cheerleader.
They were married 13 years ago and have three children.
