Cyprus International Rally on Sunday was launched with the participation of 46 teams, including from Syria, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon and Cyprus. The event, which has been taken place annually since 1970, consists of eight short legs repeated for three times. World Champion Sebastien Loeb was declared winner of the 2004 Cyprus Rally in the Citroen Xsara.
