ALBAWABA - On Monday, the Israeli military revealed the murder of two Israelis abducted by Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades near Gaza on October 7, 2023. The gang has the corpses of two people.

Israeli military told Alex Dentzig and Yagiv Buchshtav's families that they perished and Hamas is keeping their corpses. A Ministry of Health expert group and the police confirmed this judgment based on intelligence evidence, but no specifics were offered.

The circumstances of their Hamas captivity deaths are under investigation. The Israeli military believes Dentzig and Buchshtav were murdered in a Khan Yunis raid earlier this year.

The Gaza Forum of Families of Israeli Captives said that two members had perished in Hamas detention. During the October 7 raids, Yagiv Buchshtav (35) and Alex Dentzig (76) were captured, according to the forum. Their deaths emphasize the necessity to rescue prisoners from continued peril.

The captives' family have urged the Israeli government and Prime Minister to quickly accept an exchange arrangement to return them. Tel Aviv estimates 120 Israeli captives in Gaza, while Hamas claims more than 70 were slain in Israeli attacks. Prisons in Israel contain at least 9,500 Palestinians.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the exchange agreement negotiating team to fly to Doha on Thursday before meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden in Washington on Tuesday.

Israeli media reported a six-hour meeting between Netanyahu, the negotiating team, and security officials on the arrangement.
