Australian Ambassador visits Sunwhite Rice Mills in Aqaba

In recognition of Sunwhite’s success in the Jordanian market, Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom His Excellency Mr. Trevor Peacock accompanied by the Regional General Manager for Sunrice Australia Mr. Russell Heffernan, paid a visit to the Aqaba Processing Company (APC) in Aqaba on Wednesday 30th May.

The Ambassador’s visit was hosted by Chairman of the APC, Mr. Yousef Nader, with the tour of the facilities conducted by General Manager Mr. Rami Amawi, whereby His Excellency inspected the plant and complimented APC’s efficiency and impeccable operation.

His Excellency commented on the impressive development of the facilities as well as the implementation of hygienic regulations such as wearing hairnets and uniforms by employees as well as a proper indoctrination of factory and personal safety.


His Excellency also expressed that it was an impressive experience to witness a superb example of a joint-venture between a progressive Jordanian company (Nader Group) and a world-wide leader in high quality rice food manufacturing, SunRice.
