Xerox Corporation today announced a significant enhancement of its award-winning Xerox DocuMate® 152 duplex scanner with the incorporation of Visioneer OneTouch® with Kofax® VRS™ technology that automatically improves the image quality of faded or degraded original documents at the press of a single button. This technology combines the ease of Visioneer OneTouch scanning, with the superior image enhancement of Kofax Virtual ReScan® (VRS) software.

The Visioneer OneTouch driver also has the ability to automatically drop scanned images into Microsoft SharePoint®, Kofax Ascent® Capture, Hyland OnBase® and Datacap Taskmaster®. The Xerox DocuMate 152 is a small, easy-to-use, color sheetfed scanner designed for desktop use and allows users to scan double-sided documents at speeds up to 30 images per minute. The scanner includes over $600 in bundled software, such as ScanSoft PaperPort, OmniPage Pro OCR, X1 Desktop Search, NewSoft Presto! BizCard, Visioneer OneTouch with Kofax VRS technology and an advanced TWAIN driver.
