AZA, a unique amazigh musical group of Moroccan and American singers and musicians, is scheduled take part in the Amazigh-Gnawa Spectacle and perform in the Corona of Montreal Theatre in Canada on Saturday, July 16.
The group combines traditional and modern instruments and styles in their musical creation and produces unique melodies. Their first album, Marikan (America) (2003), which is a sort of a musical voyage through amazighe culture, tinted with modern Western influences, had met a great success.
