BEAT Achieves Great Success at ENGEX 2008
BEAT, a leading Jordanian-based IT solutions provider, who is also a Microsoft Gold Partner and an Autodesk Authorized Direct Reseller , SourceCode, and Nintex partner, has participated and achieved great success at the ENGEX 2008 Exhibition.
The exhibition was designed to be a unique forum for the exchange of experiences and knowledge between various representatives of the engineering industry, including exhibitors, engineers, investors, decision makers and other key players from engineering industries and businesses. Held at Zara Expo, the exhibition's activities commenced on the 18th of August under the patronage of Mr. Sahel Al Majali, the Kingdom's Minister of Public Works and Housing, and continued until the 21st.
Visitors at BEAT's booth were presented with the latest in technology solutions and Autodesk's 2009 products which address the needs of many sectors focusing on the architecture, structure and construction fields. AutoCAD 2009, Autodesk's flagship application, was among the products that were introduced highlighting its new features and functions.
Additionally AutoCAD Civil 3D, which is geared towards civil engineering and is the primary aid in boosting productivity in high-standard civil engineering designs and documentation, whether for land development, transportation, environmental projects or others. Other products include AutoCAD Revit MEP; an intuitive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system design tool. And AutoCAD Revit Architecture and Structure: an innovative 3D building design tool and documentation system that allows for infinite freedom in design, error assessment, and automated generation of the cumbersome bill-of-materials.
As part of their belief that software solutions are pillars in business success and development, BEAT organized an intensive session on Autodesk and their products, under the heading "Experience your designs long before they're unveiled; Autodesk – AEC Software Solutions." The session was hosted by Mr. Amit Dhill, a certified Autodesk Consultant who came to Jordan specifically for enlightening the engineers and interested parties.
Mr. Dhill emphasized the importance and benefits of acquiring legitimate licenses for software used in any organization or enterprise, as these licenses guarantee support for the software used, in addition to allowing for regular important updates for better quality, efficiency and security. He also emphasized Autodesk's interest in providing technical support to its clients through their strategic partner BEAT. He also reaffirmed his belief that software development in Jordan is a booming industry that receives great interest from various project supervisors, which reflects on the overall awareness of the industry's importance and significance in aiding the growth of the flourishing engineering and industrial sectors.
