Biggest Gulf Computer Fair Opens

The main computer and information technology fair in the Gulf opened in Dhahran. It includes 30 computer and computer applications specialized companies, according to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat daily. 

The exhibition dubbed the 18th Annual Computer Exhibition enables local leading computer firms, such as Al-Jasem, Naseej and Waseet, to display their latest innovation in computers and communication networks.  

 

The fair also includes public lectures and training courses, said the Chairperson of the Exhibition Organizing Committee, Mr. Sami Khayyat. The exhibition was organized by the King Fahd Petroleum and Minerals University and is sponsored by the Governor of the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd.
