Blue Gallery in Marrakech will host an exposition called “Outside Norms,” which will feature the artwork of Mohammed Ataallah, starting from April 16 until May 8. Born in 1939 in Morocco, Mohammed Ataallah graduated from the School of Beautiful Arts in Tetounan in 1957. He lived in Seville and Rome for a long time where he met famous poets, musicians and writers including Paul Bowles, William Burrougs and Brion Gysin. Emarrakech reports that Ataallah had several exhibitions in different parts of the world such as Seville, Morocco, San Francisco, Rome and Paris. Ataallah notes that he does not see his works as completed works and for him each work is an open work and overall element to continue.
