Book Fair for Children in Sfax

A book fair for children will be held between March 22 and April 2 everyday from 10:00 to 20:00 in Sfax. <i>La Presse</i> reports that the fair will host fifty foreign participants (mainly editors, publishing houses, libraries and associations) coming from European countries and Arab countries.

 

Within the framework of this event, there will be also a conference titled “Science in children books: twenty years of practice in children books in Tunisia”, which will take place from March 25-27 with the participation of Michelle Bouffetier (responsible for the youth section of Charles Gaulles Library) and George-Andre Vuaroqueaux (director of the center of international studies in children literature). During the event, tales will be told for children by famous Tunisian names such as by Mouna Noureddine (on March 23), Belgacem Haj Ali (on March 26), Hafedh El Khabou (on March 27), Zeïneb Hamed (on March 28), Jamil Joudi (on March 30) and Béchir Drissi (on April 1).
