Abdelaziz Bouteflika, president of Algeria has affirmed that his country will take part in two major sporting events, planned to take place in 2007 - the ninth edition of the African Sport Games and the second edition of the Afro-Asian Games. This announcement came in a recent address to the participants of the 20th session of the general assembly of the Higher Council of Sports in Africa (CSSA), which was read by Abdelouahab Derbal, the president's adviser.
