Daesh (ISIS) claimed responsibility for the attack on the national museum in Tunisia's capital Thursday, AFP reported.
The attack on Bardo National Museum in Tunis killed at least 21 people total, 20 foreign tourists and one policeman.
The militant group published an audio recording that described the shootings as a "blessed invasion of one of the dens of infidels and vice in Muslim Tunisia," and threatened more attacks, AP said.
"Wait for the glad tidings of what will harm you, impure ones, for what you have seen today is the first drop of the rain," the statement said.
