BurJuman announced its partnership with the Dubai Racing Club as the official fashion partner of the 2007-2008 racing season. The year’s anticipated racing season will see BurJuman bring glamour and style to every event, both on and off the track. Already home to the largest concentration of luxurious brands, BurJuman will reinforce its fashion legacy once again, particularly during the fabulous Fillies & Fashion showcases and the Style Stakes competitions.
The racing season will officially open with BurJuman Ladies Night on Thursday 29 November, a ladies-only affair hosted by the Dubai Racing Club at the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse. During this exclusive evening, ladies will enjoy an evening in the specially decorated and feminine-themed suites in the Maktoum Grandstand. BurJuman Ladies Night will also include a unique millinery display, competitions, beverages and canapés, and gifts for all attendees.
In addition to the Ladies Night, BurJuman will also sponsor the Fillies and Fashion runway show, held on the beautiful lawns of the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse. BurJuman Fillies & Fashion will launch the latest in race wear collections by some of the world’s most leading designers. This event remains a favourite among Dubai’s style-savvy race-going community and will continue to deliver runway shows and the latest in fashion brands to the public this season.
BurJuman Fillies and Fashion will not be complete without the Style Stakes competitions held in the Style Arena. Commencing with the Winter Style Stakes on 10 January, Carnival Style Stakes on 28 February, and Super Thursday Style Stakes on 6 March, prizes will be awarded to the Best Dressed Lady, Couple and Hat in each Style Stake. Winners in each category will automatically be entered in the final competition, the Dubai World Cup Style Stakes, taking place on 29 March 2008.
