Chemmakh misses chance to move to Lyon

Marouna Chemmakh, the Moroccan striker of French Club Girondins de Bordeaux, missed his chance to move to Lyon. Although the French champions offered 10 million euros for the player, Bordeaux turned down this offer. Bladi net reports that the Moroccan international had expressed his wish to leave to Lyon in an interview published in the sports magazine “L’equipe”. Chemmakh, who has a contract with Bordeaux until 2009, said that he would like to transfer to Lyon but he does not feel bitter because it did not happen.
