Five soldiers of the Presidential Council of the Libyan forces were killed and a further 37 were injured in clashes with Daesh at the city of Sirte.
According to a statement released by the Media Centre of the operation "Al Bunian Al Marsoos", the Misurata Central Hospital received yesterday 5 casualties and 37 injuries from Misrata, Mizdah and Sabha following squirmishes between the military and Daesh fighters.
The statement added that the Libyan forces at the "Algharbiyat" "clashed with Daesh fighters who used mortars and tanks, and who were backed by snipers stationed on top of high buildings".
The statement also added that the Libyan forces in the eastern side continue using heavy artillery against Daesh fighters in Ouagadougou.
