Crocs Inc., manufacturer of a new breed of comfort shoes, has launched its Spring/Summer collection for 2008.  The theme of this new collection is ‘Color Your World’, encompassing everything fun in colors.

The Crocs SS08 range features 1 women’s style, 2 men’s style, 1 unisex style, and 10 kid’s styles.  Inspired by the theme, Crocs not only adds Mango and Grape to its color palette, but also offers a variety of styles which can be worn in many occasions and can color the Crocs fun in them.

The new shoe models in the collection are constructed with an array of distinctive materials, including leather and canvas.  Still, they all offer the Crocs signature benefits as they are constructed with Crocs’ proprietary Croslitetm material, a non-marking, microbial-static close-cell resin.  All Crocstm shoes made from this exclusive material are soft, comfortable, lightweight, superior-gripping, non-marking and odor-resistant.

New shoe models in the Crocstm SS08 collection include:

- The Baya (Adult AED 150; Kids AED 125), a unisex model, allows you to show your true colors with Crocs signature logo.   Available in adult’s sizes M4 to M 13, kid’s sizes C4/5 to J3, the Baya comes in 12 colors.

- The Tikali (AED 350), a men’s sandal with a rugged, lightweight sole made for those with a sense of adventure.  Available in men’s sizes M7 to M12, the Tikali comes in 3 colors.

- The Pelican (AED 150), specifically designed for toddlers age 1-3, is designed with a unique shape and thin sole mimicking a barefoot sensation. The brightly colored design will surely add fun to the wee feet.

- The Audrey (AED 150), a women’s slide offering the best of both worlds: style and comfort.  The ribbon on the top provides a feminine flair.  Available in women’s sizes W5 to W9, the Audrey comes in 4 color combinations.

The full range of Crocs SS08 was unveiled at the Uptown 24, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai.  It was a colorful interactive launch, with a variety of life scenarios depicting the seasons’ new Crocstm shoes in motion.  Mr. Mark Langhammer, Regional Sales manager – South Asia, Middle East & Developing Markets, Crocs Asia Pte. Ltd. and other VIPs attended the launch.

Crocs™ has been in high demand in the Middle East.  At present, Crocs has 230 retail points across 9 markets in the region.  Mr. Mark Langhammer said, “The Middle East region is one of the key markets for Crocs and is experiencing strong growth.  We are looking to expand and further to establish our brand throughout the local market.”  He also mentioned Crocs’ plans of introducing the first exclusive Crocs retail flagship store in the region late this year.
