According to Reuters, Daesh recruited upwards of 400 children in Syria since January.
Referred to as the "Cubs of the Caliphate," the children are being groomed to become Daesh soldiers, as they receive military training while being indoctrinated to follow Daesh's twisted interpretation of Islam.
"They use children because it is easy to brainwash them. They can build these children into what they want, they stop them from going to school and send them to ISIS schools instead," said the head of the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human, Rami Abdulrahman.
Earlier this month Daesh released a video showing a young child execute a supposed Arab Israeli spy. French intelligence sources suggested the boy is the half-brother of Mohamed Merah, who killed seven people in Toulouse in 2012.
In January, a Daesh child soldier executed a supposed Russian spy in yet another horrific video.
