Daily Hebrew newscast launched on Syrian Television

Syria's satellite television network has started airing a 15-minute daily news bulletin in the Hebrew language, which it said, is aimed at, "revealing the truth to the Israelis." 

 

The newscast, which began on Saturday, will be broadcast on a daily basis at 1600 GMT. 

 

"The goal of this news program is to reveal the truth to the Israelis," said the Syrian presenter Sunday, as the new program was exceptionally aired on Israel's second television channel, AFP reported. 

 

The state-run Radio Damascus has been airing a weekly one-hour news program in Hebrew for several years. (Albawaba.com)
