Gunshots have been fired in Jerusalem at 11:40 am. According to preliminary reports, a 19-year-old Palestinian armed with a pistol fired at a border police squad near in East Jerusalem. At least 14 have been reported hurt. Two casualties have been counted. One of the dead and several of the civilians hurt in the attack were Arabs residing in East Jerusalem.
Israeli police shot and killed the gunmen. A chase is reportedly in progress after two suspects who fled the scene. Most of the injured have already been evacuated to nearby hospitals. The entire old city has been blocked from traffic. (Albawaba.com)
