Damascus Radio reported on Tuesday that United States President George W. Bush’s words never “included any condemnation, even a slight one for [Israeli Prime Minister Ariel] Sharon’s crimes” when “US bullets killed 14 civilians and injured more than 100 a day earlier.”

The Syrian state-run radio further said “Sharon has committed a series of brutal massacres in Gaza, Nablus, and Jenin without a single word of condemnation by [the] US administration”, and added, “President Bush[‘s] speech was a live example for [a] double standard policy.”

Moreover, the radio, in its daily political commentary, slammed Bush’s claim to “strike Iraq out of love for the Iraqis” when the “unjust US sanctions killed more than a million …Iraqi children”, SANA said. (Albawaba.com)
