The Russian Center for Culture and Sciences has celebrated on Friday February 11 the "Day of Russian Diplomacy". Ahmed Khaled, the former Tunisian ambassador to Moscow and currently the president of the Tunisian-Russian Friendship Association, explained that this celebration was meant to emphasize the importance of diplomatic action for the sake of all peoples and states.
Diplomacy, he explained to <i>La Presse</i>, represents dialogue, compromise and respect to the other. Therefore, the decision to devote a day to celebrate it was taken.
