The death toll in the explosion on New Year's Eve in Tacurong City, in the southern Philippines increased to 10 while at least 32 others were wounded, an army official said Wednesday.
Initial reports said six to seven persons were killed after the incident. An unidentified man tossed the grenade at a crowded roadside stall selling firecrackers, army Capt. Onting Alon said. Most of the casualties were holiday revelers. (Albawaba.com)
