The legal team defending Egyptian-American Saad Eddin Ibrahim will appeal his seven-year jail sentence once the court delivers the formal details of the verdict within a month, lawyers said on Tuesday.
"We can do nothing right now. We are waiting for a detailed judgement from the court in order to proceed to the cassation court," said Mohammed Eid, one of the lawyers representing Ibrahim, according to AFP.
