A delegate from the American Congress Visits DMC

A delegate from the American Congress who is now in a visit to the United Arab Emirate under the patronage of HH Shaikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahayan, UAE Crown Prince, visited on Saturday 22 March 2008 Dubai Men’s College to stand on the students programs and activities and on the courses the college offer and the developed facilities used in the college.

During their tour in the different departments of the college they saw the projects and inventions of the students.  They were highly impressed with the achievement of the students and with the huge and modern facilities available in the college.  Also they visited the Learning and Techno Centres where they saw the new methods and technology used in this center in delivering information to the students in a very advanced and easy way.

The delegate expressed their  admire on the main role of the Higher Colleges of Technology in the academic field and about the fast progress and development of the United Arab Emirate  in the educational field as well as the rapid growth in the number of the students and the graduates.

They were received by Dr. Tayeb Kamail Vice Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology who welcomed them and briefed about the history of the Higher Colleges of Technology and the main role they play in the development of UAE.  Also he informed them about the caliber of male and female graduates who are now holding important positions in the country.  They were also welcomed by Dr. Philip Hick the Director of the Dubai Men’s College, Dr. Philip Corcos the Associate Director and the Heads and the Supervisors of the different programs at the college.

During the visit the delegate expressed their interest in strengthening the relationship between the two countries especially in the educational field.
