Deportivo Tie 2-2 with Zaragoza

Deportivo Coruna were held to a 2-2 draw at their home ground to Real Zaragoza in the Spanish soccer league title race Sunday in Barcelona. 

Deportivo who trailed in the second half, equalized through a Roy Makaay header at the far post and took the lead with a great strike from Djaminha with just 11 minutes to go. 

After 36 games, Deportivo lead the standings with 65 points, Barcelona coming second with 62. 

Real Zaragoza, Alaves and Valencia all have 60, with Real Madrid who lost 1-0 at home to Alaves Saturday are a point further back in sixth place. 

The third relegation spot is to be decided after Real Betis seized a victorious 3-0 at Valladolid. 

Betis remain in 18th place, three points behind Oviedo with two games left to play -(Agencies)
