The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing "DTCM" completed all the preparations for launching the 9th Ramadan Forum in Al Twar 2 opposite Dubai Airport "terminal 2", under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation. The event will begin from 2-18 Ramadan including 7 nights for foreign nationalities.
Khalifa Al Falasi, Chairman of the Ramadan forum, said: "The team is working hard to gain the reputation it carried over the past years as well as the reputation of Dubai as a tourist destination in the region. We also held several meetings to follow up the preparations of the senior committee and sub-committees and ensure completion of the necessary equipments that will be associated with the events of the forum including the main lectures tent, ladies and children tents that are sponsored by the General Directorate for Residency and Foreigners Affairs".
Al Falasi emphasized that the main tent fits more than 4000 people with the ability to absorb more AC equipments to face the heat, additional car parking areas in coordination with Dubai Civil Defense and Ambulance Services to ensure the safety of the guests and face any emergencies.
Al Falasi lauded the efforts of the sponsors who have increased to 10 of which: 5 gold and 5 bronze. The forum's supervision committee overcame all the challenges through its joint cooperation with the sponsors who are very enthusiastic to achieve the goals of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing "DTCM" and sponsoring institutions.
He also added that the team members reviewed all the needs of Al Twar tent and theatre and the requirements of the tents' visitors, noting that the expectations emphasize a great demand from foreign nationalities taking into consideration their increased amounts.
With regards to laborers tent in Senapur in Al Qusais area, the committee discussed all the requested needs where the tent will be organized during the month serving Iftar meals for more than 2500 fasting people sponsored by Al Nabooda Group.
