Dubai Quality Group (DQG), a non-profit organization dedicated to raising the performance level of the local business environment, has called for organisations to implement continuous improvement initiatives to create a ‘culture of excellence’ and capitalise on the robust economic growth of the region.
“The rapid development of the country has encouraged local organisations to expand their services into international markets. However this expansion must be supported by measures that raise the company’s general performance level. By implementing sustained innovation initiatives, such as strategic alliances and calibre control measures, research indicates that organisations can improve their product quality, process quality, customer satisfaction and profit margin,” said Marwan Sawaleh, Chairman, DQG.
These initiatives were highlighted at DQG’s recent Ideas.Arabia Conference, which attracted the support of a large number of high-profile companies when it was held recently in Dubai. DQG also announced that it had appointed Orient Planet as their PR and Marketing Communications to handle the Group’s reputation management in an alliance directed at promoting the dissemination of the company’s messages.
“Strategic alliances are essential in our burgeoning market, however it is essential to partner with only sophisticated organisations that will help achieve the company’s key objectives. We selected Orient Planet as they are one of the few companies that consistently demonstrate rigid quality compliance and their outstanding reputation will support our endeavours to promote a culture of excellence,” Sawaleh added.
Headquartered in Dubai, Orient Planet is one of the Middle East’s fastest growing public relations, marketing and communications consultancies, with a network of offices across the Gulf, Levant and North Africa. The company offers expertise in creative communications to provide local, regional and international companies with expert strategic PR and consultancy services.
Commenting on the appointment, Nidal Abou Zaki, Managing Director of Orient Planet said, “We are thrilled to be recognised for our five-star calibre and we are committed to providing an integrated communications campaign that will enable DQG to expand its reach and achieve its strategic objectives. This is a great opportunity to support DQG’s quality-enhancing initiatives, as high standards strengthen society’s infrastructure, promote employment security and enhance the growth of organisations, crucial for the development of the country.”
DQG was established in 1994 by the Department of Economic Development, and serves the business community by promoting the pursuit of high standards among all companies, regardless of size.
