Dubai Shopping Malls Group unveils spectacular “Strike It Rich” promotion, offering DSS shoppersup to Dhs. 3 million in prizes

The Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG) today announced a unique and spectacular new promotion at this year’s Dubai Summer Surprises, offering shoppers the chance to win up to Dhs. 3 million in prizes: three dream grand prizes consisting of one million dirhams, a luxurious Jumeirah Beach Residence apartment and a Toyota Land Cruiser.

Additionally, 10 Mashreqbank WOW! Mastercard cards, each of them pre-credited to the value of Dhs. 50,000, will be given away as weekly prizes during the Strike It Rich promotion of DSMG, which will be held at participating malls throughout Dubai Summer Surprises from 22 June to 2 September. This is the biggest promotion to be run by the DSMG since the DSS was launched in 1998.

The promotion was unveiled at an exciting media event held at the cinema in Mercato on 13 June by Eisa Adam Ibrahim, President of DSMG. Others present were Saeed Mohammed Al Nabouda, Chief Executive Officer of DSS, Fahad Al Gergawi, Director-International Relations- Dubai Properties LLC, Thomas Edelmann, Vice President, Strategic Alliances and Business Development, Middle East North Africa, MasterCard International, and Navneet Dave, Head of Cards Business, Retail Banking Group, Mashreqbank.

Shoppers spending a minimum of Dhs. 200, and multiples thereof, at any of the participating malls will be entitled to a coupon that will be entered into a weekly raffle for a Mashreqbank WOW! Mastercard card preloaded upto Dhs. 50,000. Shoppers who use their MasterCard credit card will receive two coupons for every Dhs. 200 spent, thereby doubling their chances of winning, and if they use a Mashreqbank WOW! Credit Card they double their potential winnings to Dhs. 100,000.

The same coupon will be entered at the grand draw to pick three lucky DSS shoppers who will be rewarded with one of the amazing grand prizes – one million dirhams, a Jumeirah Beach Residence apartment and a Toyota Landcruiser.
