Dunkin Donuts Raises DH 25000 for Sharjah Charity

The Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS), a charity set up to help children with special needs, recently received a cheque for Dh.25,000 from Dunkin Donuts General Manager, David Rodgers. The amount represents the coffee and baked goods recently.

“We have been supporting the activities of SCHS for three years now as part of our company’s policy of actively supporting worthwhile community activities in the society,” said Mr. Rodgers.

He added that "Dunkin Donuts was impressed by the scope of SCHS’s activities and would look at ways to strengthen our involvement with this charity over the coming years.”

He added that helping SCHS is “our way of saying thank you to the UAE community. In May this year, we have celebrated our ten years of successful operations and ten million cups of coffee served to its emirates customers.

“Dunkin Donuts has a social responsibility to help out and give something back to the local community,” said Mr Rodgers. “We will continue to look at ways of how we could be of assistance to deserving local charities even as we go on a programmed expansion in the UAE .”

With more than 6,500 outlets in 29 countries worldwide, Dunkin’’ Donuts currently, serves more than 2.7 million customers a day. Besides the GCC region, the company’s most significant presence overseas includes the Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, Germany, Spain, Greece, and Turkey
