Egypt will depend on Information technology to blow life in the deteriorating exports sector, an official was quoted by Al Ahram Arabic daily as saying.
Head of the IT Society, Mohammad Al Hadi, said that there are three ways by which the technology can help in this regard. He said that it serves as an added value factor to produced commodities. In addition, the production of software and related items will play a key role in boosting exports, and third, by utilizing e-commerce as a means of promoting made-in-Egypt products.
According to the expert, Egypt exports products worth 4.4 billion dollars, while its imports are estimated at 18 billion – Albawaba.com
