Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Ahmed Maher held phone conversations with his Moroccan, Tunisian and Lebanese counterparts, respectively, as well as with Palestinian minister of planning and international cooperation, Dr. Nabil Sha'ath and Palestinian minister for local government, Saeb Erikat, according to Qatar News Agency Thursday.
During his phone conversations with Mohammed bin Isa of Morocco, al Habib bin Yehia of Tunisia, Mahmoud Hamoud of Lebanon, in addition to Sha'ath and Erikat, Maher discussed with the five ministers the “current situation in the region”, in particular the Palestinian arena, as well as the outcome of Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak’s recent visit to the United States.
