Mr. Abdulla Hassan Al Noman, Manager, Retail Sales Operations at Emarat, honored two retail employees who were named “Star of the year 2009”. These employees have proved their dedication and devotion in fulfilling their assignments and delivering quality customer service according to the highest standards.
At the honoring ceremony, Mr. Abdulla presented the honored employees with cash prizes, free air tickets, 10-day paid leaves and appreciation certificates.
The employees were Miss. Wiwin Winingsh from Al Garhoud service station, and Miss Gita Gurung from Muhaisnah service station.
At the ceremony, Mr. Al Noman highlighted the commitment of these employees to adhere to the rules and procedures. He also praised their constant drive to excel in their services provided to clients in a civilized manner. This enhances the corporation’s reputation as one of the leading organizations in the region.
He called on all employees working at Emarat’s service stations in various locations to work harder to ensure corporate success; while assuring them that the essence of success is based on loyalty and harmony between members of the team.
Meanwhile, the winners this year expressed their delight with their nomination, which –they said- reflects the corporation’s commitment to honor distinguished employees. They expressed their commitment to excel in their duties and to preserve the corporation’s leading position by assisting in raising the quality of its services provided to customers
Moreover; Mr. Al Noman praised the program initiated by the corporation to honor distinguished employees. This endeavor, he said, enhances the spirit of competition amongst employees and motivates them to carry out their duties with full dedication and determination.
He explained that the corporation had launched in 2004 the concept of the “Star of the Month” to provide employees with incentives to provide better service. He added that the selection criterion includes the level of customer service, honesty and integrity, and work commitment, as well as distinguished performance and good relationships with other members of the team. This is in addition to appraisals given by mystery shoppers.
