The MOU was signed by Mr. Omar Al Gaizi Human Resources & Administration Manager from Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB) and Professor Robert J. Whelan, President, University of Wollongong Dubai (UOWD) and is aimed at helping to ensure that the bank’s employees have access to training and educational opportunities which can help to enhance their skills aligned with business dynamics. The MOU promotes the educational programmes offered by the university and presents opportunities for academic and postgraduate studies, plus various courses. In addition, this MOU offers an exceptional 10% rate reduction for all EIB employees and their families on all the programmes offered by the university. The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is one of the UAE’s oldest and most prestigious universities. Established in 1993 by the University of Wollongong in Australia, the university is currently ranked among the leading universities in the world.
