The region’s top bank in terms of assets, Emirates NBD’s Priority Banking hosted a delightful community BBQ for the residents of Uptown Mirdiff on the 20th of November, 2009.
The event was organized by the bank’s Priority banking division in order to build a stronger bond with the residents and to help promote the Emirates NBD branch and Priority Banking Centre that is conveniently located within the Uptown Mall. The social event took place on the Uptown Villa Lawn, overlooking the community’s swimming pool.

The BBQ was an ideal way for the families residing in the community to interact with Priority Banking team and to get to know their neighbours. The atmosphere was filled with a great sense of camaraderie that was shared by all of the guests. In addition, there was ample entertainment for the community’s children, such as a bouncing castle and face-painting so that they too could enjoy the friendly get-together. Adults enjoyed a unique drumming session besides getting special prizes throughout the evening.

Mr. Suvo Sarkar: Executive Vice President and General Manager Retail Banking at Emirates NBD noted, “We wanted to take a distinctive approach to getting to know the residents of Uptown Mirdiff and to introduce Priority Banking to them in a warm and personal way so that they could be fully informed about the extensive products, dedicated services and unique benefits offered by Priority Banking. It was a pleasant environment and this was a unique opportunity in which our dedicated relationship managers could closely interact with the guests and provide them with detailed information about our services that are suitable for the affluent members of society who have very specific banking needs and requirements.”

The Uptown Mall branch is open from 8am to 8pm and provides 24-hour banking facilities, a priority banking centre along with the bank’s additional standard services.
