Emirates NBD, a leading bank in the region, announced today that it served as the business category sponsor of L’Officiel Woman of The Year Awards, held at a prestigious ceremony at the Al Khayma ballroom, Abu Dhabi Ladies Club. The bank presented the award in the category of business, which is testimony to the bank's commitment to championing pioneering and successful women in the world of business and commerce.
Judged by a panel of experts, the annual awards are now in their second year and were established to recognise and reward inspirational Arab women who have made a positive impact to society. The ceremony was attended by 450 influential women from different walks of life and was supported by the Abu Dhabi Ladies Club, represented on the night by several VIP members.

Other award categories on the night included Art, Literature, Beauty, Design, Humanitarian, Media, Most Stylish, Sports, and New Talent, with the pinnacle award being the L’Officiel Inspirational Arab Woman of the Year, presented to the woman deemed to have made the most significant difference in the past year.
Other women’s events supported by Emirates NBD include Dubai Ladies Masters golf tournament and the Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge.
