EOD Technology, Inc.
(EODT), has been selected to provide explosive detection dogs (EDD) in
support of security services for the Iraqi Parliament building in Iraq.
EODT will be contracting directly with the Iraqi Council of Representatives
for this work. The period of performance is one year with two additional
optional performance years.

The Iraqi Parliament building is one of the most visible structures in
Iraq and has been the target of several previous attacks by suicide
bombers. This new initiative is designed to provide a greater level of
physical security to the Iraqi Council of Representatives as it convenes to
conduct legislative affairs for the country. MG Kevin Kuklok (USMC, Ret.),
EODT's Iraq Country Manager, commented "This is an important transitional
step forward for EODT to begin providing security services directly to the
Iraqi Government, a key part of our overall business strategy in Iraq,
reflecting an increased emphasis on long-term reconstruction-related
activities."
The EDD teams are required to meet US Department of the Army standards,
as well as Iraqi Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Interior requirements.
EODT has an extensive experience base providing security services,
including more than EDD teams currently operational, in Iraq. At five
locations in Iraq, EODT's EDD Teams have cleared 410,500 vehicles at base
entry gates and at over 3,000 buildings. No attempted security breach has
ever been successful at a facility guarded by EODT, and EODT has never lost
any client personnel or equipment to insurgent activities while under our
protection.
