epicor® honors middle east partners with 2007 channel partner awards for giving growth push in region

Amwaj IT from Saudi Arabia and Scan Technology from the UAE Receive Awards for Excelling in Regional Business

Epicor Software Corporation (NASDAQ: EPIC), a leading provider of enterprise business software solutions for the midmarket and divisions of  Global 1000 companies, today honored two of its channel partners in the Middle East for contributing to the company’s regional growth push at the global 2007 Channel Partner Awards ceremony.
Winners were selected by Epicor based on outstanding performance in customer satisfaction, growth and overall dedication, total sales and commitment to Epicor solutions.
“Epicor in the Middle East has grown revenue by over 150 per cent since 2003 and this has been possible only by the dedication and commitment of our partners in the region. The awards are also a vindication of Epicor’s corporate philosophy of rewarding the dynamism and focused approach of its partners to deliver growth results and enhance the reach of the company’s products  across various sectors of the regional economy,” said Mr. Basil Daniells, sales director for Epicor in the MENA region.
The two channel partners honored from the region, both from the GCC, were Amwaj IT from Saudi Arabia for winning new business and customers, and Scan Technology of the UAE for achieving outstanding overall results in the new partners category.
The awards were presented at a special banquet for partners at Epicor Perspectives 2007, the company’s annual customer conference held this year in Orlando, USA with more than 2,000 customers, partners and industry experts in attendance.
Epicor has currently over 15 partners in the larger region – nine in the Middle East, including five in the GCC, four in India and two in Pakistan. Some of these partners operate across more than one country.
“Epicor strategy is focused on expanding its reach through channel partners and we have been extremely successful in this. In this endeavor, we have always concentrated on quality rather than quantity of partners in our network. We will continue to expand our partner network in the region and our goal is to have over 20 partners working with us by 2008,” Mr. Daniells said.
“Epicor’s channel program continues to grow and thrive through collaborative relationships with partners with strong vertical and regional expertise,” said Salena Sebion, director of channel sales for Epicor.  “The Channel Partner Awards honor the achievements of our partners and their commitment to Epicor through the successful implementation of our solutions around the globe.”
