-- Indulgent. Provocative. Irresistibly Tempting. --

Food is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Around the world, there is an increasing co-mingling of food with fashion, beauty and fragrance. Food has been elevated to couture-status thanks to the work of experimental chefs -- the new “architects” of the designer dish.  With its multi-textural flavor combinations, food can be sweet, sexy or seductive -- and like fragrance -- play a pivotal role in our emotions; sparking the imagination, evoking expression and igniting passion.

With the sweetest culinary delights in mind, Estēe Lauder has created the latest addition to its award-winning collection of pleasures, a fragrance which continues to capture the carefree spirit and joie de vivre of women worldwide since its launch in 1995.

Introducing pleasures delight:  a deliciously playful side of pleasure that’s simply irresistible -- a floral gourmand confection blending juicy fruits, tangy citrus and irresistible desserts and sweets.  While pleasures is characterized by a sheer, bright, sparkling floralcy, pleasures delight is deliciously creamy, playful and irresistibly rich.

The use of gourmand food elements – a delightful blend of delicately sugared fruitiness and creamy, whipped richness -- speaks to the sophisticated palate of the wearer who seeks more texture and depth from her fragrance.  Moreover, her appreciation for these richer accords suggests a certain tactility and experimentalism in how she lives her life.

Pleasures that Delight the Senses…

Pleasures delight unfolds with an alluring top note accord of juicy pomegranate, fresh greens and dewy freesia combined with the tempting fruitiness of whipped strawberry meringue to serenade the senses.

Next the playful body is enriched with a bouqueted floralcy: soft petals of peony and lily blend with fresh muguet and nuzzly heliotrope to create a delectable floral impression.

Lastly, warm, delicately-sweetened notes of sugared rose petals, seductive caramel, fluffy marshmallow and vanilla meld together forming the enchanting dry-down.  Touches of patchouli balance the creamy gourmand sensation, bringing a deeper warmth and sensuality to the overall fragrance impression.

Message in a Bottle

The bottle for pleasures delight takes its cue from the original pleasures, with a contemporary yet timeless design, feminine with soft, rounded edges and an elliptical cap inspired by a river rock worn smooth by the rush of clean, clear water.  The juice is a glorious rosy color, reinforcing the gourmand aspect of the fragrance.

The print advertising campaign for pleasures delight, featuring Gwyneth Paltrow and shot by Craig McDean, breaks in MONTH books. The imagery of Gwyneth, crisply dressed in a pink button-down shirt and rosy-colored short-shorts, on a bicycle whose vintage wicker basket is brimming with lush flowers, ripe strawberries and a mouth-watering assortment of cupcakes and macaroons, further underscores the connection between food and fashion, beauty and fragrance in a lighthearted and playful way.

“The pleasures concept is about the simple moments in life and taking time out to appreciate the present – which is something I try to do more of these days; by balancing my time between work and my kids,” said Paltrow of shooting the pleasures delight ad campaign.

The pleasures delight collection includes:

Eau de Parfum Spray 30ml Suggested retail price: AED 155
