Etihad Airways will be the exclusive official airline for the 2008 Gulf Incentive Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition (GIBTM) to be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre between 8 and 10 April.
The Abu Dhabi-based airline will fly in many delegates to the high-profile conference which features more than 200 exhibitors and serves as a global focal point for local and international meetings and incentives venues, suppliers, destination companies and travel partners.
Geert Boven, Etihad Airways’ executive vice president sales and services, said: “The Gulf’s global meetings and incentives industry is growing fast and attracting increased international interest, much like Etihad Airways. We are committed to growing the market and Etihad Airways is proud to be associated with such a prestigious event in Abu Dhabi.”
In addition to sponsoring GIBTM Etihad will also showcase its latest product and destinations at the event.
Notes: GIBTM is organised by Reed Travel Exhibitions in collaboration with Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company and the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority.
Etihad has been appointed official carrier for GIBTM until 2011.
