Following last year’s Film Festival in Tunisia, the European Union will hold also this year an event of “Journees du Cinema europeen” (Days of European Cinema) in Tunisia. The event will take place at three locations in Tunisia: in Le Mondial Cinema Theater - Tunis, from April 21 until May 2, in the Municipal Theater of Sousse, from April 23 until May 4, and in the Municipal Theater of Sfax, from April 26 until May 8. The festival will include recent movies from the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Greece, France, Portugal, Finland, Germany, Britain and Belgium and also from the new members of the EU, Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
<i>La Presse</i> reports that Tunisian directors have been invited to take part in the event and that this year, three Tunisian movies (by Nadia El Fani, Naoufel Sahb Ettabaa and Raja Amari) and 5 short movies and documentaries will also be presented during the festival.
